Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Luma! By downloading or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Use and enter into an End User License Agreement (EULA) with us, not Apple. Last updated: April 10, 2025.
Use of the App
Luma provides tools for habit tracking, daily affirmations, mood logging, and progress insights. You may:
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Log habits, moods, and access AI-generated affirmations.
- Copy, distribute, modify, or transfer the app without our permission.
- Use it for illegal activities or in violation of third-party terms (e.g., your wireless data service agreement).
Scope of License
We grant you a non-transferable license to use Luma on Apple-branded products you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app may also be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Subscriptions
Luma offers auto-renewable subscriptions via the App Store. Payments are processed by Apple, and you can manage subscriptions in your App Store settings. No refunds are provided for partial periods. Free tier includes limited features; premium unlocks unlimited access.
Maintenance and Support
We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for Luma, as outlined here or required by law. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the app. Contact us at support@lumaflashcards.com for assistance.
Warranty
Luma is provided "as is." We are responsible for any warranties, express or implied, to the extent not disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligations, and any further claims or damages related to warranty failures are our responsibility.
Product Claims
You acknowledge that we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims related to Luma, including:
- Product liability claims.
- Failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements.
- Consumer protection, privacy, or similar issues.
Intellectual Property Rights
If a third party claims that Luma or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we—not Apple—are responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging such claims.
Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country.
- You are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of Luma, including data loss or service interruptions.

Third Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
